After the almost entire destruction of the glass industry in Stourbridge in the last 20 years, a number of small independent glass-workers have set up business, so that there is still a glass presence in the district. Many of these craftsmen are based at the Ruskin Glass Centre, an educational establishment based on the site of the old Webb-Corbett glass-works.
